Our first “Wedding Details Breakdown” is from a recent destination wedding we photographed in Nebraska.  Check out the photo below of the centerpieces they used and then check out a breakdown of what this couple did to create this beautiful detail for their wedding…

Wedding Detail Ideas | Kevin Keith Photography

These centerpieces looked beautiful and elegant and matched the feel of their day perfectly!  When I asked where they had gotten their centerpieces, they told me that each one was created using a frame they had bought and painted and taken the glass out of, with oranges filling the space inside the frame, and tiny delicate orange flowers and one larger purple lily on top to tie it all together.  So simple but so stunning!  They had found an awesome deal on the frames, easily matched their wedding colors when they painted them, and bought the vibrant colors to life with oranges and flowers.  I must say, the textures and sizes of the flowers was the perfect finishing touch to bring all the elements and colors together!

If you have a wedding tip or detail you would like to share, please email it to us at info@kevinkeithphotography.com!  We are all about sharing the love and look forward to hearing from you!

Brigid and Brandon’s Beautiful Overland Park Wedding | Overland Park Wedding Photographers

Brigid and Brandon are probably two of the sweetest people out there and it is so fun to watch them share that sweetness with each other in the absolutely precious love they have for each other!  We had the joy of photographing their lovely wedding recently and enjoyed every moment!  Brigid and her beautiful bridal party got ready at her parents house, a very special place for her because she has grown up there!  Just before Brigid and Brandon’s first-look, we got to take the ladies outside and grab some beautiful photos with the gorgeous trees that were full of fall colors!

Brigid and Brandon had their first look at one of our favorite places, an old little school  house in Olathe.  The excitement and joy they had when they finally saw each other for the first time was so sweet and we couldn’t put our cameras down as they shared that special moment together before their ceremony at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where they had both gone as they had grown up!

The bridal party hopped into a limo and we headed to Nelson Atkins Museum to get some awesome bridal party photos before heading to the Overland Park Convention Center for their reception!  We have been to the Overland Park Convention Center many times and they always do such an amazing job!!  From the beautiful ice sculpture, to the sweet Panda Wedding Cake, tasty food, and the LIGHTBOX Photo Booth, their reception was awesome and everyone had a great time dancing the night away!  One of my personal favorites were the cute little gnome centerpieces they had on the tables as table numbers!  SO CUTE!

Brigid and Brandon, you are amazing and we couldn’t be more happy for you guys!  Congratulations and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things that are ahead for you both!!

Sheila & Ali’s Persian Wedding in Washington DC | Destination Wedding Photographers

We were blessed to travel to Washington DC for Sheila and Ali’s gorgeous wedding and we absolutely loved every moment!  Every detail of their Persian wedding was absolutely stunning and that only added to the love they shared and that we were able to capture of their special day!  We had a great time shooting their “day before” session with them on the stunning steps of the Library of Congress!  Even though the storm was rumbling in behind them, the rain held off until after the last click!  We all got back in our cab in just the nick of time!

Shelia and her beautiful bridal party of ladies got ready inside their hotel room at the St. Regis Hotel, where the ceremony and reception were both held.  It was a gorgeous suite and made for a perfect backdrop for their first-look that day!  We love their photos!  So much fun!  After a little break and some relax time, we headed down for the ceremony!

We loved every moment of the beautiful traditions and and all the family participation in their exquisite ceremony and got some sweet photos of Sheila and Ali as they officially became man and wife!  The Sofreh Aghd (the wedding spread) was exquisite!  They brought in a coordinator  from Texas to bring all the items together into a beautiful spread like we have never seen before!

After the ceremony everyone moved into the gorgeous reception ballroom area that was lit with beautiful purple and orange uplighting with soft candle light bouncing off the walls!  It was a fairytale reception full of celebration and dancing!  We loved being a part of the crowd as everyone danced the night away thanks to an amazing persian DJ!  Those guys kept that party hopping!!

All in all, it was an amazing experience for us and we were so blessed and honored to be able to capture Sheila and Ali’s stunning wedding with their families!  Congratulations Sheila and Ali!!!

Sara & Dane’s Beautiful Nebraska Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer

Destination Weddings are always an amazing experience for us!  We have a great time finding unique and gorgeous spots to capture gorgeous photos of our couples’ special day!  Sara and Dane were our most recent destination wedding and it was in a beautiful small town in Aurora, Nebraska where Sara grew up.  It was the perfect place for family and friends to gather to celebrate their wedding day!

Their special day began with a rehearsal at the Leadership Center followed by a tasty brunch at Nitta’s Bed & Breakfast.  Sara and Dane had their ‘first look’ with each other in the beautiful white bandstand in the Town Square.  The stunning green forest of trees surrounding the bandstand made a beautiful backdrop for this precious moment!  Their ‘first look’ was absolutely precious and filled with love and happy tears as they saw each other for the first time, dressed and ready to become husband and wife! Sara and Dane absolutely light up every time they look at each other and we had an amazing time photographing them at Sara’s grandparents barn and her parents house!

We joined up with the rest of the wedding party at the bandstand where we had a great time shooting the wedding party in the Town Square at the bandstand and at some of the gorgeous old exposed brick buildings! After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, everyone headed inside and along with the traditional reception festivities, Dane surprised Sara by singing “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait.  You can see in the photos how much it meant to Sara as Dane sang to her!  It was beautiful!   Sara and Dane put a lot of love and thought into every detail of their day and we had an amazing time capturing and being a part of it with them!  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland!!

Here are a few of our favorite photos… You can see more photos and their wedding slideshow at www.kevinkeithphotography.com/sutherland_slideshow
